I don't think the Wii U will have 12 first party games a year

Around the Network

Not enough Wii U games to buy... Got nothing for January, so I'm out.

Do cheap e-Shop titles and VC games count...?

Still, one every month's a lot, to me. Maybe I'll not get one, some months, but then later compensate by buying more than one in a single month.

Yes, we know. You never think.

He didn't say first party only.

Wii U doesn't have third party for the most part

Are you saying there won't be 12 games to buy in 2014?

I'm not sure what you're point is. Wii U has third party support, even if it's not as great as the third party support ps4/x1 are getting.

Of course i would like to buy even more than a game per month, but it is impossible for me in Brazil cos games are so expensive.
Games I got: Batman Arkham city, zumbi U, WWHD, SM3DW, Pikmin 3, NSMBU/NSLU, (trine, nano assault).
Games I want: Rayman legends, nintendo land, lego city undercover, sonic lost world, W101, tekken, injustice, deus ex, splinter cell, NES remix and batman ark origins.
And among the upcoming games: X, Bayonetta, SSB, Mario kart, DKCTF, Watch dogs, hyrule warriors, project cars, and a lot of indie stuff.
Is much more than i can afford. I have to choose wisely. maybe 1 for each 3 months is what i can afford.

Sounds like a challenge... I'm in! I'm a casual gamer and I'm trying to become more "hardcore" by gaming more often.

Will Virtual Console and eshop games count though? Some months won't be a problem for me because there are obvious games I want that will come out in those months, but other months will be more difficult to find something worth buying.

These are games I've already made plan's on getting this year:

- "Hyrule Warriors" (2014)
- Mario Kart 8 (Spring 2014)
- Super Smash Bros. (2014)
- Watch_Dogs (Allegedly March 21, 2014)
- Monolith Soft's "X" (2014)
- Q.U.B.E. Director's Cut (March 2014 allegedly)

With more to be revealed and some games that are already out that I still haven't gotten, I may be able to do this.

Still, I also have my 3DS to think about, but my 3DS may be an Indie machine next year since the only "big" games I've planned on getting are Bravely Default and maybe Super Smash Bros. I'm also planning on downloading REvelation's though, since I've ordered the Circle Pad Pro recently. Everything else is Indie. Particularly, Iron Fall and Retro City Rampage excite me.

Oh god, my wallet.

Donkey kong TF will be my 30th Wi U game.

As long as eShop and VC games count, that shouldn't be too hard to do. Between me being at a point where I'm making the most disposable income in my life since my high school job and it being so easy to find deals, not to mention the VC and eShop, I wouldn't be surprised if I end up owning more Wii U games than all my other consoles combine (except the original Wii, maybe).
