I prefer to have a flawless online experience. Last gen PSN was down monthly for maintenance, down for a full month because of a hack, and had no cross game or party chat. XBL completely blew the doors off of PSN. This gen PS4 finally has those things but yet has still been down multiple times since release and XBL has yet to go down. 300,000 servers on XBL for dedicated gaming vs PSN's # that will never get released because it is much lower. If Sony doesn't improve the online infrastructure it will never be as good. Games with Gold starts next year so the free game argument can't even be used anymore.

It's not up to me to prove you're fud wrong. it's up to you to prove it right. And you can't and wont. 

I just proved it right in my last post unless you want to ignore every single fact in it.

Bold: Wait, what? What's the distinction? The games are part of the service. Aren't we all gamers? You actually prefer a minor advantage in...something I don't even know, because Party Chat ain't it anymore, nor is it dload speeds...over GAMES? Oh, wow. 

How many servers do sony have for PSN? Quoting that MS PR number of 300k servers is meaningless when you don't even know what that means in comparison to other services.

Games with Gold was great on 360, wasn't it? What was the most recent game you got? Assassin's Creed II? :O

No when I pay to play online I want to be 100% sure that I can play online any time of the day without lag. I can expect that on XBL but on PSN I cannot. Haven't people already had to change their passwords twice since the PS4 launched? Pretty pathetic if you ask me. Sony has yet to prove they have improved their online infrastructure. Shutting down GT5 and all Resistance servers proves that they haven't.

?? Hogwash, there is no more lag on PSn the live, and numerous times when I had an xbox there was lag (Gears 2), and maintenance and live server issues.......Live is not as perfect as you think it is.

 

Hilarious how you try to spin sony being proactive, and protecting peoples accounts from hacks and getting them to change their Passwords as a precaution as a bad thing..maybe they should do nothing and let peoples accounts get hacked like MS....................

 

What does shutting down servers for older titles have to do with anything? Every game company does it.

Xbox live was a killer app , but not anymore, a lot of gamers don't see any real adavntages anymore and it has become less of selling point imo.

I just hate it when Xbox fans come on here atnd claim that Xbox live is flawless. For you blind fan boy who can't see, live have down time, live been hacked, live have lag, live have updates, and live is not flawless. Live was a damn pay wall. 3-4 years ago live was superior to psn, but you can not say that now.

Last time a server was shut down on XBL it was for Halo 2 which is over 10 years old. I'm still waiting for that first hack on XBL.

It is actually pretty easy to say it now. XBL credit cards have never been hacked. It has never been down for a month straight. Right now as I type this PSN is down for the 3rd time in a month.

I had more respect for sony after the psn being hacked, than before, they handled it very well and went from strength to strenght after it.
