Those were pretty stupid and unfounded tho, it actually looked like the 3DS could do 3m in each region this holiday based on past holiday Q shipments.

Damn fine numbers for Wii U! Also Vita numbers are pretty good especially compared to last year. I hope FFX/X-2 can push alot of systems.

Wtf, why did you change your week ending dec 29 to 60k now?

benao87 found an error in my calculations 2 weeks ago, so i changed week ending dec 29 and added week ending jan 05 then. Besides, you argued my numbers for week ending dec 22 was very unlikely(i was right), as well as week ending dec 29 (which you where right about). Week ending dec 22 is sort of japan black friday. As the holidays kick in and shops closes, sales will go down for week ending dec 29. Japanese children will then spend their giftmoney by week ending jan 05, so sales will be up then.

Either way, i win. Noone in their right mind would doubt my numbers now:)

This thread is about Japan sales only. PS4 won't do much in Japan. It will debut nicely, but sales will fall off a cliff until FF15 is released. Unless FF15 release before dec 31 2014, expect PS4 to be dead in water throughout next year. Just like the PS3 was before FF13 hit the system and Gran Turismo 5 released there.

Arguing over console sales in Japan is like betting on a cripple fight. Consoles are done in Japan despite a few sparks here and there. Yes the Wii U will spike during December, yes the PS4 will probably have a solid launch week + change. But other than that forget it. People need to get over it. Japan = handheld market.
