Based on the poll results the vast majority of vgchartz doesn't believe in the Wii U!!

A shame the "vast majority" of Vgchartz doesn't amount for jack outside of Vgchartz.

Once again, poll is meaningless without a yes option. Then again, you believe Wii U wont hit 10 million until 2018, so clearly, reasoning with you is an impossibility.

That's no fun though! And damn you responded fast!

Idk what to expect from the Wii U anymore. It's possible but seems unlikely atm.

This is what I hate about moderation on this forum..this thread has been in the wrong section for 2 days and none of the 3 mods who've posted in this thread have moved it #MBP2013

OT: I have no idea.

what the gamecube sold has no relevancy whatsoever regarding wii u.

Neither does Wii then, thus meaning you're basing your WiiU sales on the previous 12 months and nothing else.

wrong as usual. the wii is far more recent than gamecube and shows the current state of nintendo franchises.. it may not be 100%, but has relevancy to the subject.

I love how you keep telling people that they are wrong and your signature suggests that some people, unlike you, are idiots, but seem to forget your prediction about wii and 10m by the end of the year. Was that based on wii numbers? And if so, maybe you should think again about the facts on which you're basing your observations and predictions? Just a thought.

To answer the op's question, it probably won't. i can see it reaching 8m though. A console's success does not depend entirely on games, but also on public perception. If something is seen as "uncool", people don't buy it. There is little reason to buy a ps4 at the moment and yet people are going crazy over them. In my opinion, that's simply hype, something that wiiu lacks and wii most likely not get unless a gamechanger comes along (similar to the first pokemon game).

maybe if mario kart 8 is a hit.

A price drop will happen Spring 2014. Just in time for that Mario Kart bundle. BOOM

Possible, and could be a big boost.  Right now the Wii U is selling OKish with the 300 price and bundles.  Any time a store releases one of those bundles for 250, they sell out in minutes (I know because I've missed snagging one a few times)...  So I think 250 might be a sweet spot that some are waiting for - especially if it's a Mario Kart bundle.
