And now I really want one!!! This is terrible!!!! I already am plenty busy with ps3 and vita games, and planned on getting a ps4 sometime next year because of all the games I still have to complete. Factor that in with my job as an air traffic controller, and this news couldn't have come at a worse time :(

somebody help me forget about how the 3ds is 100% backward compatible D:

well it is not 100% backwards compatible, you cannot play the guitar hero games on the 3ds :P

Not many will miss it; I used to own that game and my hand cramped a bit from that weird peripheral. =/

all Nintendo handhelds are backwards compatibale (except the original Gameboy, for obvious reasons).

What I can tell you is that there are is a very big list of quality games on the DS

Dragon quest 9, a few final fantasy games, some Tales Of games, Chrono Trigger remake, pokemon, the world ends with you (EXCELLENT game), Fire emblem ... is rpg heaven for sure.

I actually haven't played much besides RPG's but that genre alone make it an excellent purchase. I would say it was by far the best platform for RPGs last gen.

Stay away from the Advance Wars games or we'll never see you again. Both are among my top five games played on my 3DS--beating out all of my actual 3DS games.

Well you can't even play that game on a DSi because of the missing GBA slot!

DS game compatibility is pretty much perfect except for that. It's a real boon if you don't have a DS and want to try out DS games.

Dual Strike is a gem, but Dark Conflict is just plain horrible.
