Lol... apparently he also has had to replace 5 PS3's due to failure. Yet I am still playing on my fat 60GB PS3 from June 2007.

I gave up at that stupid freefall to the planet. Died about 20 times and decided I had had enough. Beautiful game but some stupid design decisions. I play Killzone for the shooting--not to fly around and avoid debris. So sad.

I've tested the controller at several stores and i must say i find your post to be either an bad attempt to trash on the PS4 or just a bad test controller at that store because i thought the Dualshock 4 controller was a much needed improvement over the Dualshock 3 but that's just from testing at random stores so no solid playtime yet with the controller.

i loved that sequence. it was an epic moment seeing the city crumble around you.

Maybe you should see a dermatologist. Or clean your hands more often.

Have logged 15+ hours of playtime and so far have had no issues with the controller.

Did you test consist of a stress test of the analog stick or just testing of the controller?

The reason i stress tested the analog stick is due to a 27page thread on neogaf with players reporting on their controllers and posting pictures to go along with it.  These players are posting pictures of wornout analog sticks and i could not imagine that would happen without abuse, so i wanted to test it out myself.  I was stunned in the store when i tested it out, with just 1min of testing the rubber was falling apart.  The rubber on the sticks was changed from the PS3 to the PS4 due to the oil residue on the older sticks if left unused.  My 3yearold PS3 controller shows no problems, i also just stress tested it for 2mins straight.  The new rubber is causing issue on atleast some PS4 controllers.

I own it. The sticks are great. End of story people we can leave now...
