Definitely mario kart, i played the first mario kart on Snes for a couple of years then move on to the N64 version and was rapidly addicted on that game but for some reason never felt that magic with the gamecube version.

Agree, Mario Cart is reason enough to buy every Nintendo system!

It is near the end of the end....

Smash Bros.

Zelda easily.

If "X" is as good as Xenoblade Chronicles then that franchise could wind up tying the Zelda series for me.

Since Xenoblade isn't a "franchise" yet, my list would look like this currently:

1. The Legend of Zelda series (Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword my top 3 currently)
2. 3D Super Mario series (Super Mario 64, Super Mario Galaxy 1, and Super Mario 3D Land my top 3 currently)
3. Mario Kart series (Mario Kart 64, Mario Kart 7, Mario Kart Wii my top 3 currently)
4. Super Smash Bros. series (Melee, Brawl, 64 top 3 currently...duh!)
5. The Core Pokemon RPG series (Gen 1, Gen 6, Gen 2 my top 3 currently)

Donkey Kong Country, Kirby, Star Fox, and Kid Icarus would be next, probably in that order. If Intelligent Systems makes another game comparable to Fire Emblem: Awakening then the Fire Emblem series would probably enter my top 5 in the number 3 spot, so here's hoping. Also, the Paper Mario series used to be in my top 5 but after Super Paper Mario and Sticker Star it has fallen off. Here's hoping they can make another game like the first 2.

Upcoming Games To Get

Definite: Kirby Star Allies (Switch), Mario Tennis Aces (Switch), Fire Emblem (Switch), Yoshi (Switch), Pokemon (Switch), Kingdom Hearts 3 (PS4), Monster Hunter World (PS4)

Considering: Fe (Switch), Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze (Switch), The World Ends With You (Switch), Ys VIII (Switch), Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition (PS4), Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Remix (PS4), The Last Guardian (PS4), Shadow of the Colossus HD (PS4), Anthem (PS4), Shenmue 3 (PS4), WiLD (PS4)

Fire Emblem. I own every game in the series (as you can probably see from my avatar) and love every one of them.
My favourite Nintendo game (and favourite game overall) would be Paper Mario: The Thousand Year-Door though.

Add me if you like!

Ask me about 3DS Friend Code if interested. All other things are in the profile!

Donkey Kong Country.
2 and Returns are among my favourite games of all time, while 1 and 3 are still excellent. That's 4/4 in terms of being high quality.

1. 3D Mario
2. Mario Kart
3. Advance Wars
4. Donkey Kong Country
5. F-Zero
6. 2D Mario
7. Star Fox
8. Legend of Zelda
9. Wave Race
10. Super Smash Bros.

1. Super Mario
2. Fire Emblem
3. Animal Crossing
4. Mario Kart
5. Wii Fit
6. Wii Sports
7. Donkey Kong Country
8. Zelda
9. Pokemon
10. Kirby

Although if I could count Earthbound, that would be number 1.
If the new Xeno game turns out well, then that could also be number 1.

Metroid, Punch Out, F-Zero, Lylatt Wars... Probably favourites among people here, but I just could not get into those franchises at all. This is one thing I really like about Nintendo though, you may not like everything they release, but you will probably like a lot of it. They also have TONS of valuable franchises - most other companies cannot create lasting franchises the way Nintendo is able to.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

1. Super Mario
2. Metroid
3. Mario Kart

And that's your stone cold lock of the century of the week.

"Games are a trigger for adults to again become primitive, primal, as a way of thinking and remembering. An adult is a child who has more ethics and morals, that's all. When I am a child, creating, I am not creating a game. I am in the game. The game is not for children, it is for me. It is for an adult who still has a character of a child."
