This leaves a comparison to see how 3DS 2013 will fare! 2012 before final 10 weeks had a total of 7,869,479! 2013 is already over last year before the final 10 weeks! 2013 has 8.49mil! 

How Much will 3DS sales be by years end? If 2013 tracks ahead of 2012 final ten weeks, 3DS should have a minimum of 15mil sales! Good luck 2013

Should be fun to keep track of. I think the combination of pokemon and the 2ds has finally got the 3ds to the point where it will consistently sell more in the us and europe than in japan.

2013/2014 is probably going to be the peak years for 3ds so its going to be at 15-17 million this year so 5.5-7.5 million for the rest of the year. It could be anywhere from 16-20 million though because of the increase of NA and europe sales like acdcste said

3DS leading over 1st week of the final 10! It has an advantage with around 500k YoY before the countdown!

Last year AC was big in japan and We had Paper Mario!

This year we have LoZ! Also riding off the wave of XY!

Yeah with all due respect to paper mario and its a great game, it was a mistake to lead with that as the big name in north america and Europe last xmas. Pokemon will really push the system i believe. Not too sure how much of an effect zelda will have but it certainly wont do it any harm!

I'd be amazed if it could come close to matching last year. Those are some seriously big numbers!

Anyway i think numbers should be higher, last year numbers were good cuz of AC new leaf in japan, now we have 2DS which by itself bump hardware high and not to mention a LoZ game that looks amazing!

agreed about last holiday, they should have had Animal Crossing released worldwide. Paper Mario+Animal Crossing would have been a good combo
