we do know this is a joke right? Its just a reverse of the Wii U 3rd party support thing. Its kind of funny, but the the thing is. Vita owners from what ive seen(and being one myself) never really complain too much about support.

Hell its only one group that has alot to say usually. I got enough games for Vita that im good for some time. tearaway is coming hell i havent even beaten Persona 4 yet

More like the lack of Vita owners ... The majoriy of us do a great job on the sofware front.

Ignoring the purpose of the OP for the sake of discussion, I agree with you.  I might believe that there is potential in the Vita for the major western publishers, and I do, but I'm not going to rant and yell at them if they believe otherwise.  They run businesses, they have to maximize their profits and put their resources where they will see the most return.  The guys at the top, that's what they got hired to do.  I do not take that personally, nor do I think they're trying to push the Vita to fail.  I'm sure they'd love to see another market open up, they're just not willing to gamble heavily that it will.

Publishers in Japan I hold a bit more responsible, though.  They should have known that games would sell on the Vita.  It took the examples of several smaller developers doing quite well for themselves to illustrate that the Vita market is a good one and now the bigger fish are jumping on board.  The Japanese can be painfully conservative sometimes.  Still, they have to do what they think is best for themselves and I can't blame them for that.  I just wish that they would be a little less reactionary.

Of course, I also hold Sony accountable, as they, like Nintendo with the Wii U, assumed that third party support would be enough to keep things going during the first year.  It's clear that Sony cannot think that way with handhelds, just as Nintendo cannot think that way with home consoles.
