For me it's going to come down to how they represent their other main franchises. Mario can't carry this, it's proven. LOZ, SSB, Mario Kart, DK, they're good, and they'll sell but we need more.

We need Star Fox back, F-Zero, Earthbound, a Pokémon Console game, but most importantly of all, we need a certain bounty hunter back.

We need a new Metroid game, and I know I'm not alone in thinking this:

Slarvax got to it first and I don't want to be redundant edition!

  • A reminder: Code of Princess and Etrian Odyssey 4 are $10 off on the American 3DS eShop for the next week. EO4 in particular is the best entry in series history, so strongly consider getting it!
  • New Mario commercials! This one is for 3D World and this one is for Island Tour.
  • A refutation of the "Wii U is doomed" fad.
  • The Wii Mini is coming to US stores Sunday.
  • Nintendo has made a Holiday Gift Guide. Spoiler alert: the Ouya does not make an appearence.
  • Tomorrow is the release of the retail version of Ducktales Remastered for the Wii U.
  • A review of Wii Sports Club Tennis. It is not very positive.
  • A Miyamoto interview! Among other things, he comments on the difficulties of HD development.
  • Now that Marth is confirmed for Smash Bros 4...
