By the way, do any of you guys know if the Gamepad of the Wii U has some sort of filter? Because when compared to the image on my TV, it seems to be a bit more yellowish/warmer. Have tried messing around with my TV settings, but even in the warmer configs, it looks pretty different.

Also, the bloom effect on the gamepad is much more noticeable than on the TV as well.

Mine doesn't show that.

In fact, the pictures on my gamepad look better than those on my TV.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

I guess it must be different TVs or different games, because mine look near identical, aside from a couple which seem a little yellow maybe.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

yeah the gamepad screen is obviously not as good as a standard LCD TV, because of TVs having all those HW built in features

Gamepad screen is just a cheap small LCD. Did you really expected it to match a standard TV?
all in all, 480p on such a small screen looks great

Well, New SuperMario Bros U looks identical on both the TV and the GamePad, but Resident Evil *at least to me* looks better on the GamePad than on TV, both in colors but also in shadows.

But then, I use an LG monitor/TV as a TV, so its image quality may not be up to the standarts of some. I find it looks good.

I know that some games deliberatly look better on the pad than on TV, such as Trine 2. They added extra effects to the gamepad image that are not present in the TV image (might be because it has to render at a lower Res).

On WW HD, I also notice that the gamepad version has more bloom. While the image looks much crispier and color-balanced on the TV (on the gamepad it looks yellowish/washed out), there level of bloom is completely different as well.

That is pretty damn cool! But at any rate, surely this will lead to the console being compromised faster, no?

I didn't watch the entire thing (is hard to understand the guy), but my guess is that this is a huge step into actually hacking the console, but it will be a long time before it's available to the public, so Nintendo still has some breathing time.

Finally got around to picking up Super Mario 3D World on the way home tonight. Its just a drop in the ocean that is my Wii U and 3DS backlog but its progress! Now I just gotta make sure I don't stay up all night playing it...

As for what I want to see in 2014, there's way too many things to list all of it but a new Advance Wars for 3DS, F-Zero and Star Fox for Wii U, and a new IP on the Wii U from Retro and/or Nintendo's internal studios.

MK7 on Wednesday huh? I can't guarantee I'll be able to make that.
