I'll take that as a shy admittance of Ryse having the best facial tech?

I guess? I think its stupid to deny that Crytek is the leader in graphics. I've just never been interested in their games. They bore me to tears.

They've never lead on console, for me. They don't, really, lead on PC for me either, right now, but that's a little tighter.

I heard the reason Crysis 2 was worse in graphics than part one was because the first Crysis was mainly made for PC. They, much like ID started working to scale down their games for consoles. Still not a fan but yeah. Everyone always hears stories about Crytek, namely pertaining to graphics.

It's not the facial animation of Ryse that's the best, I'd say, but the skin detail!

I agree with this.  When it comes to texture, Ryse wins hands down.  However, the face themselves, I think they're very 'uncanny valley'.  I might be the only one but they're just off to me.  Maybe it's the exact uncanny valley theory, that they're so close it becomes creepy, I don't know.

The nose, the eyes, the size of the lower face, it just looks strange.  The detail, though, is amazing.

See?  Just doesn't look real.

Maybe that's why the Helghast girl's face looks great to me, much better than the humans in KZ, because there is less uncanny valley effect.  Her eyes, though, are excellent, the best of the lot.

I know it doesn't count but those images of Deep Down are by far the best shown.  Extremely life-like.  The absolute best I've seen, however, is that Sorcerer tech demo from Quantic Dream.

I don't know what it is but I really like that design, maybe it's because she doesn't look like a generic videogame beauty, but rather a bit unique.

Ryses faces look the most realistic I guess, but I find the art and story direction of that game sleep inducing, but I don't like stories about the Roman empire anyway, so what do I know.

I've never been too fond of photorrealism. Yeah, I'd like to try a game with graphics that surpass real life, but I'd take Fable design over Ryse design anyday.

Now MS, how about aquiring Crytek? :)

With their presence on PC, I doubt you'll ever see that.

As if PC market is nothing MS would be interested in?

Any how. Nothing to compare by now, most look like in-engine cut sceanes.

They seem fantastic looking games for the first banch of a generation.

Ryse looks best atm.

What have you seen Microsoft do for the PC market in the last few years?

Neglecting Nvdia on the Xbox One, so that they can fully concentrate on PC gaming only

Oh god that second one in Killzone XD.
