Every day I check the Amazon Deal of the Day for great bargains. Sunday 2/10 had Tomb Raider Anniversary for Wii for $19.99. Today, 2/12, was RE:UC Wii for $29.99. I purchased UC on release day, however, I had a friend who was waiting to get it, so I let him know. It sold out at the $29.99 price in just a few hours so he was out of luck, however the product description says UC is discontinued from Capcom. Could that be true already, it seemed to still be selling fairly well. Why would they kill it off so quickly? Here's a third party title selling well only to have it's legs cut off, doesn't seem to make too much sense.

Now it's back in stock at $29.99, but it still says: Discontinued by manufacturer: Yes

They might have a lull in shipments or something...it's not discontinued though, that wouldn't make any sense at all.

No game gets discontinued three months in to it's release. Even games that sell terribly don't get pulled after only three months. I think this is a mistake by Amazon but only time will tell.

RE: UC was also a game that was cheap to make. Since most of the textures and mappings were ported from the GC version of the RE games. So it would make no sense for Capcom to discontinue the game.

It's definitely not discontinued. If Zack and Wiki, which was released first, is still available, then RE:UC is DEFINITELY still available.

I knew the zombie lobby would get to it eventually.

In today's politically charged environment, you can't get away with shooting anybody without a special interest group threatening a lawsuit. I just wish Capcom had the guts to stand up to the ZCLU instead of caving under their legal threats.

Just picked it up from amazon. That now makes 2 wii games I own that I've gotten for 30 in the last week(zack and wiki the other one). Now just to find time to play them.
