No, because there are a lot of japanese titles on the ps3 that I want to play and it looks like a lot of japanese companies are not too eager to convert to the ps4 anytime soon. I also just bought it back in May so I'm looking forward to finish a lot of the games that wont come out on the next gen consoles. Last but not least, GT6.

planetside, killzone, minecraft. to start

Not buying either for several reasons.

- Not enough interesting exclusives.

- Nearly all the games I'd want are multiplats that are either cross-gen or on PC.

- Didn't have a job before the end of August, so I had no money to preorder until recently.

- Not in the mood to pay for the privilege of being a beta tester for the first batch of systems and services.

- The most interesting features, like Gaikai and Microsoft's indie stuff, won't even be available until next year anyway.

This generation went on far too long. So much so that I got into PC gaming so I wouldn't have to keep looking at sub-720p bullshit that can't even run at a solid 30fps. Yet despite that, I see nothing that I'd be willing to buy a new console for before mid-late 2014 at the earliest. The industry keeps going on an on about all the amazing new experiences the hardware will allow for, but I'm not seeing anything different outside of single-player campaigns being axed.

I'm not interested in PS4 right now, and Xbone will be releasing next year here.

Alot of people here have come to their senses when buying a new consoles at launch. Anyway good decision for most of you guys for the most part since both consoles are serverely lacking when it comes to must haves.

9 people on my friends list on Live are holding out for Titanfall to release. That game is gonna move units folks lol

I'm not getting an X1 until early next year, because there are no X1 games that I'm dying to get this holiday. I'll get one in time for Project Spark and Destiny.

Well I'm getting a PS4 but its summer time when it comes out here so I am doubtful I'll be playing it much

not planning to upgrade until early next year. mixture of wanting to finish my current backlog as i know won't look back once i upgrade and general worry that consoles are dead and dying breed not worth my investment.

besides, there will be slow bits in the early parts of 2014.  the longer i wait more less droughts i'll have.

If I had the $$ I would get both, but since I'll be traveling a bit this winter the PS4 will need to wait until about mid next year.
