I'm pretty good I guess, right now my play time is about 200 hours. I erased all my data once, however, and I don't know if that deletes my time as well, so it might be a lot more.
I can beat a lvl. 9 dude with 5 lives without losing a life, two with three or even four lives remaining (with Roy, Falco, prolly Marth that is). I also have pretty good records on most event matches and almost perfect (I think) scores on target test.
When I play with friends (who are often pretty good) I win 49 out of 50 times, and if I don't win I usually have the most KO's.
I don't play competitively, though I'd like to see if I could make it to that level on Brawl.

I'd consider myself a 7...assuming most people here don't realize what an "8" means.

I don't wavedash, I do L-cancel when I remember to, but I guess the problem is I'm better than my friends at Melee, so it would be lame for me to try all that stuff on them...it'd only cause the game to go off sooner. If I had enough practice, I think I could reach "pro" level skills...just need some time probably.

I'm paying attention to Brawl's techniques, so hopefully I will be able to use some of them for a tournament.

I play as Samus most of the time, though I am almost better with Marth, but he's pretty cheap in Melee.

I have a better one: 3 marths.

With my friends and my brother I win all of they, but I never play in one tournament official.

I'm the best player i have seen. I beat all my friends with Roy because i know that they are slow so I can be slow too. At the start I used to play Bowser, then Link.
I think that if i find a good player i would switch to Marth.
In Brawl, I will use Marth or Ike.

 You know that those advanced techniques aren't in Brawl right? So basing your skill off of them isn't going to do much when you start playing brawl, unless/until they find new advanced techniques.
