It does seem like the XB1 threads have a lot of posters with Sony related avatars and sigs. but I think that is because of the lopsided ratio of MS fans to Sony fans here. I also have no idea how bad or good the Sony forums are because I VERY rarely open a thread from there.

Being in the minority is part of life here as a MS fan. Thicken up your skin, take the high road and try not to respond to what you consider to be circle jerking, it's easy to ignore. If you REALLY don't like it then bounce but I have a feeling that wherever you go on the webz, you'll be greeted by the skin slapping sounds of the circle.

Threads like these make me laugh. Most normal posters from any camp have no problem with any of the fanbases on this site.

Do Nintendo fans come and troll threads specifically about other consoles? I wouldn't know, since I usually don't wander into threads I have no interest in or don't feel fit to discuss.

I really think that this generational shift is worse than most, and my theory is that it started with the $600 price tag of the PS3. All of a sudden, Sony fans had to defend their massive price tag even though the system had fewer games and the promised all-powerful Cell processor put out worse graphics than the 360, the online experience was worse, or even missing completely in some games, and so on. After seven years on the defensive, it is no wonder that they are a bit testy.

I was done with this forum for a while.

The shortsightedness, bandwagoning, stupidity, and Kool-Aid drinking (from all camps) just got too annoying.

However, I like the sales stuff, so I came back (for now).

Hopefully, once the dust settles next year people will calm down.

PS. I tried to open a new super positive thread about Forza 5... I got one comment in one hour talking about my thread was dup... I checked the previous thread with 10 hours and two comments.. I mean its Forza guys.

In the end we are all playing the same game....

I would have replied if I would have seen it but it got locked too soon.  I like the bonus picture of the Lancer Evo X that was included in a link of your thread.  So far the only cars in Forza 5 that I'm really exicted about are the pre 1980s cars including the two F1 cars from 1976 and the cover car of the delux editon the 2014 Audi RS7 Sportback.
