If that is true, a topic will slowly slide off once it runs its course. No big worry.

 I don't see how a "do you sleep nude" thread is more objectionable than a masturbation thread. Just goes to show that things are all in the eye of the beholder.

A lot of these threads(while many of them are fun), are generally made for a few purposes: to gain notoriety, vgbucks, arousing conversation, or to get people riled up. Generally speaking, I think the sexual ones aren't really to get people riled up, that's more what the political, religion, and anti-American threads are for.

Although some of the sexual threads are fun, I could do without them myself. I like how vgchartz has a bit of a "wild west" feel to it, but give people an inch and they take a mile. I'd hate to think that a potential partner, investor, or advertisor would check out vgchartz one day, just to be bombarded with penis threads. Unless that advertisor was Hustler or something. :)

yeah, I think ArtofAngles masturbation thread was taking it a bit too far. the rest are just good silly fun.

and I don't think ioi has a problem with most of them seeing as he was the one who unlocked the virgin thread.

I honestly don't think the sexually themed threads are good for the board. You have to remember that this is a community open to pretty much all ages and to have threads about masturbation is just weird =\

Its getting a little bit silly, but there are a lot of topics which make the site look worse.. the ones that are completely pointless. I'm drawing a blank right now but we know what they were. Sexual topics are just as good as any other off-topic discussion, quit being such a prude.

Speaking as the proud owner of the "Are you a virgin" thread, I'd like to say that it gets really old arguing the same point day in and day out. Anytime you try to post some good news on PS3, it's bad, any bad news on Wii, and it's good. For the last week, there must have been thirty or forty threads on SSBB, it's sales and release, and this weekend, was honestly, the most fun I've had on this site since I've signed up. I haven't stopped laughing. And the news is really slow, leo-j, soriku, and weezy are nowhere to be found, so it's just a bunch of boring people on this site and nothing to talk about. And to be quite honest, I really wanted some vg$, so I figured I'd post something that was easy to answer to, and caused a lot of discussion. And I made about fifty bucks in twelve hours off of my virgin thread.

You make money for posting, creating threads, adding games to the database, the predictions league, and when people post in threads you make. So if you want to make money quickly, post threads that tread the line between vulgar and normal, and watch the money roll in. I needed more money for the prediction league... I think I have a gambling problem.
