Wii U - Own it, love it. The after launch drought sucked ass, but lately that's changed with Pikmin 3, Duck Tales: Remastered, and Rayman Legends. Gamepad battery is kinda lame, thankfully there are few games that I don't mind just keeping it plugged in. Gamepad was a lot better than I thought pre-launch, Off-TV play is a huge plus, also loving the revised VC titles.

PS4 - Starting off much better than the PS3, tho paid online is kinda meh. Knack, Second Son, and Deep Down looks to be a amazing games. Might get my first Sony console in late 2014/2015.

X1 - Other than new additions to the Halo story, not much interest.

Xbox One  --  I'm going to start here because this is a really curious situation.  My biggest criticism of the 360 was that it really lacked true exclusives.  I've always wanted to play Halo but, to me, it just wasn't worth the price for one series and a few XBLA games.  Now that it looks like the Xbox brand is finally pumping out exclusive games, Microsoft bungles PR and sets brand image back a few notches.  On a personal level, unlike the 360, I think I will end up buying an XO eventually, as long as they keep adding new titles--and when that price tag comes down by a couple hundred dollars.  I'm seriously not paying an extra $100 for Kinect at the current price point.

There is still a long ways to go before we can decide if Microsoft exclusives rank up with the other two but it looks like they're trying.  The other criticism I've held with the 360 was that Gold held no value for the consumer beyond what it roped off.  It looks like they might be changing that, as well, thanks to PS+, though I still really dislike video services being behind the pay wall.

PS4  --  I'm a Playstation customer because I think it offers the most variety in content and because I think World Wide Studios is the best developer group in the world.  I don't see either of those things changing.  Though Microsoft has upped their game in terms of content, I don't see them bringing as many Japanese games to the table or offering the same kind of variety with first-party content.  Because of that, a PS4 is my next intended hardware purchase.

Yoshida is my favorite person in the gaming industry.  I love how WWS has evolved under his leadership.  I love how studios like Naughty Dog and Santa Monica can decide their own projects, how Japan Studio can create programs like Playstation CAMP and games like Tokyo Jungle and Rain.

In terms of hardware, I don't see much difference with it and the XO.  I care about games a lot more than the box that plays them.

Wii U  --  It has a few games I want to play.  However, it also centers around franchises that interest me very little.  Nintendo likes to purposefully avoid complex characters and storylines, two elements that attract me.  They also specialize in platformers, a genre that I got burned out on years ago.  I don't need more than one or two platformers a year (though I'm enjoying Knytt Underground at the moment, surprisingly).  In terms of the type of content I prefer, the 3DS seems much more my style, which is why it's blown past the Wii U on my Most Wanted Hardware list.  If the Wii U got some of the types of games the 3DS has, it might be a different story.  The Xbox One, which I thought would be in last place, has also (probably) passed the Wii U, thanks to their unexpected interest in creating original games.  At this point, I don't see myself buying a Wii U unless I fall into a lot of unexpected money.

While I don't agree with that - but I respect your opinion nonetheless -, the good thing is that they're going to implement some kind of backwards compatibility (or so I've been told). You can always - if you decide to purchase one - catch up with those 360 games you wanted to play. The wonders of backwards compatibility :D

Yeah, that would be nice, even if it's a digital purchase only.  I'd at least like to play Halo 4.  Didn't I read that Halo 5 is the start of a new trilogy?  So the XO will probably get at least 3 or 4 Halo titles, right?

Halo 4 is the start (of the new trilogy), so my bet would be Halo 5 and Halo 6. Put some spin-off in there like they love to do (I would love some Halo Wars 2, despite not liking the Halo franchise) and you have your three Halo titles!

I like games.

PS4, xbone, wii u, ouya, vita.tv, etc all have games so I like them.

Wii U - Nothing that interests me, because the way I see it most of their games are ones you've seen on previous consoles, mario kart, mario 3d, zelda, I enjoy new games and wii u not cutting it for me which is a real shame, plus I enjoy third party and indies, and neither have made a big impact on wii u, maybe will get better in time

PS4 - Knew where it was going from the very first moment the word PS4 was said. I'd buy for policies alone and how much they are respecting indies. No games from launch that really interest me so I havent pre ordered but gonna be my first next gen console when i can afford one,

X1 - Lol! A multi billion dollar organisation tried to steal our rights, focused in the wrong areas, and blatantly used PC hardware at events. Changed almost every policy and claimed every exclusive is better than PS4's. Well maybe at launch. But they tried to take my rights away so it will take a while before i forgive them.

Interesting fact, two friends of mine who were previous fanboy junkies of x360 are buying PS4, the driving point being the f2p games and ps plus. Planetside 2 OMG!

PS4 isnt as bullet proof as people like to think. There are still problems and its not going to be a totally smooth road

Xbox One isnt as dead on arrival as people like to think, though it wont do as well as the 360.

Wii U is currently in deep shit, though Nintendo have the strength and ability to dig it out of said shit. It will struggle because of the 3rd party support, or lack of.

I will eventually own all 3 systems, as all 3 will have the respective gems that I must play.

PS4 - My console of choice for Next Gen. Sweet price point and Hardware.

WiiU - Arrghh Nintendo no ! Not happy about this. I love Nintendo but this is a massive mis step IMHO.

Xbox One - Broken in Europe, so wont be purchasing. Kin expensive to boot.

PS4 - I'll get it to play KHIII and FFXV (they'll be available for xbox too, but the PS4 is cheaper). However, I'll buy it until one of those games is released.
WiiU - I don't know if I'll get it, but if KHIII is announced for it (I don't know if that will ever happen) then I will consider to buy it instead of the PS4 (unless the Wiiu version is very downgraded)
Xbox One - ...........
3DS - I want it sooo badly but I don't have money :(
Vita - ........
