Forums - Gaming Discussion - How much % of your game collection is digital?

0%.

I hate digital, whether it be console or PC, I'd rather not buy a game at all than buy it digitally.

About 90-95% of my PC games are digital.

For everything else, it's more around 25-30%.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

I think I have 2 digital games....

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Haha @ some people above who don't buy digital having to explain themselves and announce that they "hate" digital.

OP is just asking for simple show of hands... no need to justify the fact you havent joined the digital cool kids.

idk, i think i own over 500 retail games and only 1 digital game.

are you thinking about buying a hdd? The Legend of Zelda gets it's digital release 2 weeks earlier than physical. I'm finally caving.

Console games 0% are digital.

PC games 100% are digital. I dont' even have a dvd/cd or whatever drive for my computer even. Have no choice but digital.

3DS about 75% of games are digital. Would be 100% but I get games sometimes as gifts so those are not digital.

Digital is only about convenience for me.  As for home consoles, why bother with digital when the system don't move.  I want though to be able to bring whatever and as many games on the go with me in terms of handheld, so I prefer digital that way.  PC, when I made my pc i didn't spend any money on a dvd drive so been stuck buying digital since.

I would say 80%-90%... I spent over $3000 on steam with over 250+ games plus wiiU digital, ps3 digital, and 3ds digital... so yea... I think the 3ds and the wii have the most physical games in terms of recent systems

Main reason for buying digital... too damn lazy to go to a store

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

5%, if that.
Just a handful of downloadable Wiiware titles like World of Goo and FAST Racing League, and a few Virtual Console games that didn't come out in my region, like super Mario RPG and Sin & Punishment 1.

I don't know, if PS Plus counts, about 50 % on PS3.

On 3DS I have Animal Crossing (was pre-installed) and Fire Emblem digital. Also some eshop titles that aren't released physically. But I don't have many 3DS titles, so it is also about 50 %.

PS Vita also about 50 % because of PS Plus.

Xbox 360 0 % digital, the same for Wii and PC.

I tend to buy physical, but if a game is not available on retail, I just get the digital version. Like, I went to the store to get Street Fighter x Tekken for Vita but it wasn't there. So I got myself a 50 € PSN card and bought it online. The same some days ago with Killzone: Mercenary. It wasn't available at launch day at my local retailer, so I almost bought digital, but those 5 GB were just too much for me, I only have a 16 GB card. Luckily, the day after, the game was on the shelve.

Digital games have some advantages, but I just don't like the thought that I won't have a physical collection anymore. But I don't hate digital games. I think it's a good thing that you have the option so everybody can just pick what they like best. And I think both can exist at the same time without a problem.

Official member of VGC's Nintendo family, approved by the one and only RolStoppable. I feel honored.

PC most are on steam so probably 95%

Consoles 0% (apart from a few old virtual console games, which I have carts for anyway, so like 0.01%). I don't buy indie games because they are digital only lol.
