Yeah I hate that too. It always makes me think, "oh com'on, it wasn't that cool". I'd rather want to see action scenes in natural, fluid motion.
I wander who started this trend. Matrix?
Same with this Ryse promo video, it worries me that they're making such a big deal out of a kill move. (it doesn't actually worry me though since I already expect the game will be weak)
The graphics on that main man are incredible though. Not that graphics matter much.
