yeah that's why by default it tries to collect samples of voice from different region to learn what people are saying to it, I mean there are what? 25million kinects out there now and if everyone allowed those to sample their voices and pool it all together the service would get better exponentially faster.... but yeah there is something about being part of making something better without getting a pat on the back for it that people just dont wanna go for. Heck they even made an app here in Europe where you go and do some surveys which are answered into kinect just to better the software behind it and they offer achievements and avatar rewards for using that survey software.

Bit of a shame really all those failed attempts at me yelling for a change of weapon have not gone to make the system better as a whole.

Kinect voice control on some English speaking countries are not as good in the US and UK. Therefore, in those countries MS needs a little but more extra work to bring it on par with US/UK.

Actually getting audio samples from all over the world, without kinect recognizing it in the first place would not help at all. It needs a lot more manual work, kinect is not a bottom up AI.

Although waiting sucks really badly, at least if this is really integral to the system and works flawlessly its good to know Microsoft want it to work for you out of the box. At least you will know Microsoft aren't gonna patch the hell out of your console for the first year.

anyway those delayed country will wait what till early 2014 ???? most people that didn't pre order will probably have to wait until second wave of shipments which will probably include more countries by then....

the real question right now is ... when will it launch in NA.... when will it launch in tier 1 EU and how long will it take for tier 2 to get them.... I don't see why it would take long for tier 2 EU.... we'll see those are the important question.... the reason for delays are quiet irrelevant anyway... I don't see why they would be lying it doesn't make sense what so ever.... localization issue being worst than supply issues IMO

you do realize localization includes market place, localized services/apps, and yes voice.... but yeah you are right they are lying with a worst excuse than what a lack of supply would be.... makes perfect sense....
