So I did one of these for KI and people were saying I hated it because it was on the X1...even though I praised other exclusives like DR3 and Crimson Dragon, anyway I thought it would be fair if I did the same thing for one of the PS4 exclusives and I just choose the one that people seem to be the least excited for according to the pe-order numbers.  (Btw if you wanna see the KI one: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=167015&page=1)  Also thanks to NightDragon83 for the idea.  

Now heres my opinion, personally I loved the PS platformers on the PS2 like Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter and Sly Cooper, and on the PS3 I loved some of the new Ratchet and Clank games, I kinda liked the new Sly Cooper and I liked LittleBigPlanet so I guess that means I should like this right?  Well after seeing the gameplay let me say the game looks really good, I like the mechanics of how you get bigger and stuff, but the combat just doesn't look that great to me.  I hear some people comparing the combat to GoW...there is no way Knack's combat is on that level.  Now if you asked me if I'm excited I'd say a little, if the combat turns out to be good then Ill pick the game up, but from what I've seen it doesn't look like that's gonna happen.  So anyway what do you guys think about the game and are you excited?

It seems rather generic...I see it as more of a tech demo. Not too much graphically, but more of a physics demo.

Your first thread was kind of pointless and this one is as well.

The discussion should end at people thinks it looks fun. Some people will like it and others wont.  No reason to why people should have to justify their own opinions and taste. How about just dont worry about what people like so much.

Why is it so ridiculous for people to say why they think the game looks fun?  They don't HAVE to justify anything, they don't want to then they move on and don't comment on the thread.  How about I do what I want and you don't worry about what I do so much?  If you think the thread is so pointless then you should have just ignored it, there are plenty of other threads for you.

I think the Sony platform could use more story-driven family games, and Knack appears to fill that niche. I wasn't impressed with the first gameplay video Sony showed, but the Gamescom ones reignited my interest for the game.

Because in the last few months we have had a lot of people focusing on what they DO NOT like including you.  If you dont care for something then move on, who cares.  I dont undertand why people like Kingdom Hearts but I dont ask people TO PLEASE tell me why they like it.  They like it because they think it is fun.  It isnt a hard thing to figure out.

In your last thread people would say I think it looks good because this, this, and this.  To which became an argument of well i dont think this, this, or this is good.  Nostalgia is the only thing(or main thing) blah blah blah.

Now youre making another thread about the same thing pretty much.  People has their reasons on why they think it looks good.  They think it looks fun.  Maybe they like the artsyle.  Maybe they like hack n slash games.  But this stuff is not hard to figure out.

Tell me do you like a specific food?  Now tell me why you PLEASE like it.  Then Ill tell you why your wrong and why i dont like it etc  Doesnt work that way.  But that is what these threads are like to me.

Just another generic platformer. Nothing to be excited about for me personally same applies to Killer Instinct (IMO).

I think the game is too linear. I would have liked something like Spyro with large explorable levels. There doesn't seem to be much platforming either. Just looks like a linear beat-em up. I'm sure it will play fine, it's got Cerny behind it, but it's not the type of game I'll buy at launch. I really think this should have been a free pack in title.
