Okay so I've been pretty vocal about how I feel about this game and I seriously want to know what people see in it that makes it so special.  I will say the graphics look really good, but that's pretty much the only positive I can say about the game...Fighting games that are out for current gen like Mortal Kombat and Injustice look like they have more depth than this game and blow it away.  I mean the only thing that I can see that seperates this game amoung other fighters is Ultra Combo.  Also correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure there is only gonna be 6 characters at launch and 2 will be added later...that is so poor, it makes the game seem so rushed, which only emphasizes my point that its a bare bones fighting game because it was so rushed that they didn't have time to add anything extra.  Also does the game even have a story mode?  Keep in mind this is my OPINION so don't go flying off the handle.  So what is it about this game that has you excited?  Or are you like me?

Fast paced, huge combos, great artstyle, nostalgia, great technical fighter like some of the top dogs.

PS there is 8 characters at launch and 8 more coming in season 2. They are supporting beyond launch for years is what they said.

Now it is fine you dont care for it but then again no reason to keep voicing your opinion about it if you dont like it.  We get it.  I dont like Kingdom Hearts but I dont go in thread to thread saying how much i dont like it or make threads asking why people do.  I just move on with my life.

Well lets be honest most fighters are fast paced, I don't think fighting games are made to be slow paced.  Also what specifically makes you say its a great technical fighter when compared to other fighters?

What is a big fighter that is fast paced?  Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter is mid to slow paced.  Dead or Alive is fast with short combos.  Soul Calibur and Tekken isnt like Killer Instinct.  Am i missing any other big fighting game?  I cant think of one big fighter that is as fast paced as Killer Instinct except Marvel vs Capcom

If you dont like Killer Instinct then move on and forget about it.  People like different things.

Cant comment about that since i havent played it.  Marvel vs Capcom is the only one i could think of and it plays WAY different than that.

But yes Killer Instinct is different than a lot of fighters and holds its own ground which is why people like it.  Then of course there is nostalgia. 

Pricing model kills any interest this game might have generated for me. I am honestly not a fighting game fan though, so I was never really that interested.

What makes you say it isn't? You haven't played it, so you have no idea how it plays.

On Topic, I'm fairly excited for the game. It's visually impressive. It is going to be supported with new content for years to come. It has Ultra combos! It reminds me of all the fun I had playing the original when I was a kid. It has a unique content purchasing system in which I can simply buy 2-3 characters at launch if I am short on cash due to buying an Xbox One and other games.

Exclusive! games that are exclusive get alot of people excited!!

Well, right off the top, I don't like 2D fighters very much. I buy them, I play them for awhile, then I lose interest. I will always be more into Soulcalibur, DoA, and Tekken.

That being said, I think the mechanics look fine and the style is really cool. The game's distribution model is something a bit different so I'm willing to see how it works out. Adding fighters over time seems like a good way to keep people coming back. I'm gonna be open-minded about it for now.

And, of course, nostalgia. It would be pretty spiffy to play Killer Instinct and be a monster again.
