I predict, that if the playstation 4 were to launch at any date within the month of OCTOBER 2013 in most markets, the PS4 will more than likely have outsold the entire life to date sales of the WII U by december 31st 2013. Meaning the PS4 would more than likely become the top selling nexgen console by the end of 2013.

Any doubts?

Yeah I've also been thinking this is possible. Wii U by my projections should end the year at around 6-7 million though. PS4 could beat that, but I don't know if I expect it to.

if you are talking about wii u current total sales + the rest of 2013 then you are beyond delusional. if you mean wii u's current sales alone, then you're still delusional, altough a little less. ps4 will neeed to do better than wii in order to cross the 3.4M mark in two and a half months.

I won't go ahead and say that's entirely impossible...but I will go ahead and say that I think there is a 99% chance of that not happening.

However, if everything went literally perfect, I could see around 5ish million sold during that time period. In reality, I expect about 3.5-4 million though if it launches in October.
