A record of my time spent on the Wii from when I bought it up to yesterday: February 6th 2007 to February 5th 2008.

('0' indicates no time was spent in that month, while '-' indicates I had no access to it, for instance I had not bought the game yet [with Wii play I played a friends copy of the game before I bought it])

('Other' is any time spent which was not properly recorded on the Wii message board because it can only record 10 things in one day, for instance if I entered and quit a channel 10 times in day any more time spent is recorded as other)

N.B. I have not included the Metroid Prime 3 preview channel, of which there were 32 minutes in October and 5 minutes in November.

Timesplitters2 - 139:02 (this is only in-game time so does not include the vast number of hours I spent in mapmaker... also I have deleted two of the 4 files I made, which probably had a further 10-15 hours)

estimated total time for TS2 would be about 200-220 hours.

I would guess that TS2 would probably be my most played GC game, the only one that could be a challenger would be LoZ:Windwaker which I guess would be about 200 hours.

Playing patterns seem to go hand in hand with release schedules. Aug-Sep and Feb support my hypothosis.

Yes I have used the browser quite a lot, after seeing January I decided I'd best cut down on it because staring at a TV screen has got to be worse than a computer screen.

I am trying to get the last columns to fit on the page, this forum can be very annoying.

it seems you haved used it more then me but i got my wii in june which means you have has it 4 months longer

Your Welcome Gamerace... and yes I have, but SMG isn't the same type of game for me, when the time comes that I want to have another go it will jump up another 20 or so hours... Wii Sports is at the other end of the spectrum and will slowly keep adding 5-10 hours each month, while Endless Ocean is somewhere in the middle, and will probably get a month on month off of a few hours or so.


The only way I could get the first two tables to fit (without splitting them which I don't want to do) is to make the characters superscript (and subscript as well for the overview table) so unfortunately those will be smaller, but hopefully still readable to everyone.

I find it quite astonishing (even if no one else seems to...perhaps because it only relates to me) that two Wii games are already nearing the total time I spent on TS2 or Windwaker from last generation... and a third (Wii Sports) is sure to pass them eventually too. (I doubt either WW or TS2 had more than 250 hours)

Nice collection of times...definitely interesting to see one's pattern of playing, especially when games come out.

have you compensated for how long it took you to work all of this out (i'm assuming you used the Wii message logs)?

was most of the 566:43 of internet channel on this site?
