Could be a lower resolution or something right? I mean if 7ish minutes at 1080p is correct, then you could get more while recording at say 720p

But we probably have to keep in mind that these kinds of things are due to change before release. Who knows

For upload I think it will have a lot of options... Facebook is being used in the Sony presentations.

For direct streaming the confirmed for now are Twitch (Xbone) and UPStream (PS4).

Good for those that will use it, i guess. Personally, I just want to play my game. I don't have the urge to rewatch or beg other people to watch the last few minutes of me playing a game. That last few minutes is usually just me saying "Man, I am so bored. I'll force myself to make it to the next save point...."

Yeah they have been fairly terrible lately.

5 minutes is plenty. It's enough time to rewind when something cool happens. And I can't see why they dont just make it so you can record for longer if you want to and just save it to the HDD.

PS4 didn't use the SytemRAM for this resource at all... that's what I read.

What? It says 5 minutes, but when you say 'Xbox record" or whatever it only saves 30 seconds?

So really its only 30 seconds.
