Persona 3 Portable.

Your collection is complete with that game.

The ps2 version is much better though, so he should get that "if possible :P"

In what way is the PS2 better?  I can get either one, but if I got the PS2 one I might have to get another memory card, all the ones I have atm are full and I've already deleted everything worthless from them.

Persona 3 FES is on PS2 which includes the original Persona 3 Game (which is the main male character) and its sequel story which is not included in the PSP version.

Along with that, the PS2 version allows you free movement like any other RPG while the PSP version plays like a graphic novel until you get inside the tower/dungeon.

I played the PSP version , its still good but I kinda wish I had played FES on PS2 first and play the female character in P3P ;p.

Still the PSP ver at least for me is a 9.5 out of 10 but I'm sure FES will be higher since its like two games.

thanks basil :D

I'm planning to play P3FES soon ;o

Cant wait!

I'll replay P3P after that again with the female character.

Shit's gonna be insane though since I clocked 70 hours on my first playthrough.

I have to get back into it, love it so much "even more then persona 4"

Just stuck at that stupid roulette boss! :(

Man, I've been struggling to decide which one to play first for a while now.

140 for my first playthrough... 70 for the answer (for FES). 75 more for P3P female playthrough It's THE best game on the PSP.

I've come here to recommend stuff, but what I wanted to recommend already has been. Good job people ^.^

I would say both versions have their positives. I would recommend playing FES to get "The Answer" portion of the game that carries on directly after the game and expands the story, which the PSP version doesn't have.

On the other hand the PSP version has the female protagonist whose social links have been completely revamped and thus feels like a fresh new experience over the male protagonist.

I personally played FES first and then P3P, which is a good way to go if possible. But P3P is a great standalone game on its own. The lack of free movement outside of dungeons doesn't take much from the experience since it mostly plays like a light novel when not in Tartarus, and the ability to directly control your teammates in battle in the PSP version is a godsend. Oh the horrible memories of Mitsuru and her Marin Karin.

Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep and Final Fantasy 7 Crisis Core.

The Castlevanias, Mega Mans, Personas, Metal Gears, Patapons and Corpse Party I would highly recommend. It's good to some some PSP love <3.

These were my favorite games for the PSP and anyone who owns a PSP or Vita should get them

Seriously has to be one of the greatest remakes ever.

&

I'm a lil Biased here as being one of my all time fav's, but i believe this to be the greatest remake of any game of all time (as of right now).

Both theses games are worth your time and should be included in any PSP library

It seems like you know a lot about the persona games so I wanted to ask you something else.  I have never played a persona game, I am just starting to get in the series, I plan to get 1-3, so do I have to play the first one or second one before I play the third?  Also if I got the PS2 version of Persona 3, would you recomnend that I get the PSP version too, or is there no point?
