Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Halo 4 is Top-Selling Microsoft Studios Game of All Time in the U.S. during each respective launch year

They haven't said anything, now they do:

"Exciting news for the Halo team at 343 Industries and Microsoft Studios – critically acclaimed, “Halo 4” is now the best-selling Microsoft Studios title ever in the U.S. market*, surpassing its predecessor, “Halo 3” for sales during each respective launch year."

*According to Microsoft retail sales sell-through data for each respective fiscal year

That dying franchise which won't reach Halo 3 in any way... Oh wait, this was before it was released :) Congrats Halo and MS for having one of the biggest exclusive out there.

he was being sarcastic I believe....
but I agree I have a hard time following him sometimes LOL
makes me laugh a lot once I get it though.....

well I really hope they will innovate on the franchise or keep doing what they have done.... I'd love an Halo Wars 2....
maybe an MMO with different factions..... and people are laughing but why not a hi octane kind of racing game with all the different vehicles you have in the franchise.... it could be at least a good arcade multiplayer game....

Not quite sure I understand this. It's the fastest selling Halo during a MS financial year?

Yep.

MS financial year is from July 1st - June 30th.

Reach and Halo 3 also had a few weeks more to sell as they launched earlier.

That's actually really impressive.

It's just that simple.

Congrats to 343!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish they would give actual numbers.

Grats anyway, while not as good as Reach it was a fun game.

"Dying franchise" ??

HUGE and a driver for many, many future Xbox One sales.

Could it be dying for the rest of the world since this only happened in US?

Very impressive. It's even more impressive when you consider that they aren't including digital sales, of which I'm sure there are quite a few.
