Man, how dare you to predict X1 win the next-gen in Vgchartz?

Any scenario that doesn't involve ps4 winning is so absurd that people feel the need to call peope idiots. Most new member have not realised this is not the comment section of N4g.

It's a shame. This place does have some really nice members who are capable of having nice non-biased conversations but some people put themselves above others for no reason at all. Both in real life and on the Internet...it is sad indeed.

IF MS really does something interesting now that every system has Kinect, or pulls out some other unique ground breaking feature which changes the way we play games - then they may win but likely only barely.

I do argee that Sony is in a very poor position in that aside from some prettier visuals PS4 really offers nothing that PS3 doesn't already do. However, it has massive appeal with core gamers and MS has stumbled out of the gate with that market.

WiiU? Don't get me started... But I think Nintendo's next console to be released mid-gen will kick serious butt

Yeah, my reasoning is a lot if "ifs" but it's a prediction so its all good. I think both Microsoft & Nintendo could bring something different which is why I put them ahead of Sony. Not they they're not capable of doing something new I just see the least amount of potential for innovation with PS4.

I don't know, Microsoft's going to face some really stiff competition.

Facts:

 - You are ignoring every "reasons" people are giving as why they are waiting for the Xbox One or find it innovative and keep "asking them" to PROVE their points. You know; we are not even targeting your PS4 by sharing that about the Xbox One; no need to get all defensive.
- I stated MANY time that I understand your point of view and you just keep replying by bashing me without EVEN reading my posts
- The facts that you need hard-proof to believe someone's else oppinion is just weird imo.
- You are not only disagreeing but are also insulting the intelligence of other people in your replies (and this why said your reply was a joke at first).

Either my english is not good enough for you to understand (it may be the case...) or you have NO real intention to discuss or understand other people's point of view (I strongly believe it is the second one).

Now I'm reporting you for calling me a troll; esp. when I take the time to reply to you with valid points and clear communication.

You are unwilling to have a sensible conversation. It's not about understanding a persons point of view.... You know i don't have to agree with you or your comments. I didnt dismiss anyones point of view... you took it on yourself to feel that i was attacking you, when i was making generalist comments.... i.e general comments that were not originally directed at you. You took it on yourself to feel upset/angry about it.

Well done. Cant have a sensible conversation, you call me names and then cry wolf. good job.

Report me, lol what is this school....lolz the internet is funny.

Indeed you are funny :) Thanks for sharing tho!

Back to OP : Already stated that but I think it is definitely possible in a medium to long term. We will have to wait and see if Microsoft's vision is either dommed or not; too early to say.

Sony has a bigger following worldwide and i dont think that is going to change. Maybe they can manage to level it out more but I doubt they will sell more outside of NA and maybe the UK so I think you are wrong on this.

Yes but the Sony crowd is getting older. So the new players are going to decide the gen.

lol. Implying Xbox doesn't have the same age of audience.

Sony's does have older audience that is die hard but not buying nor playing nearly as much. So All power sony had years ago is gone. Xbox is a real contender and only they can fuck it up, which might happen.

I not so sure about that. Maybe the older Playstation gamers have kids and they want to play on a Sony just like their parents?

I think Illumi-room is that ticket. Once people get one and show others, It's going to catch on crazy.
