I was planning on getting one regardless of the price and the DRM crap, because I hate missing out on exclusive games , and I actually get all the consoles , I also made this thread here

now this may not be an issue to all of you, but where I live we import everything and the Xbox 360 wasn't "Officially" released here so we had to have a huge AC convertor (this thing is heavy and its like a huge brick) and had most of the features locked because of IP region locking .but can use a proxy server to download the locked features, it was a slow as hell process and mostly not worth it , so most of us just play on PS3 and Wii , but now that the console ITSELF WILL NOT WORK if you are outside of the IP adress, means that its not me that doesn't want to play its THEM that don't want me to buy their console, region locking has been a pain since it's inception and now Microsoft is taking it one step forward of fucking us over, what the heck are you doing microsoft?

Most here no I am a huge fan of the 360. Probably my favorite console ever.

But MS has absolutely lost their minds with the X1.

They will eventually release in most regions in the next 2 years. But since the 360 wasn't released where you live, you probably won't get it ever. Sorry! Not sure what Microsoft is thinking...

Come now, you should be more grateful, Microsoft is doing this for our own good. They want to be like Steam and drive prices down. Not being able to play games is a small price to pay.

Just buy a decent PC put Linux on it and WINE then play all those great PC games from the 80's 90's and early 2000's. Run a few emulators. Retro gaming heaven. More playability than any today could ever dream of. They keep you occupied while this generation of consoles is forgotten AND you can rest in peace no one can spy on you. Peace

hmm I'm using a proxy for US based services like netflix with no issues what so ever everything goes through in HD 90% of the time.... I use hide my ass right now.... so it should work for you too that way.... sorry for you if doesn't....
