This controller does sound really good, but what I want to know is can I use it on my PC?

Oh yes, good point! What are the connectors? Is there a micro-usb-connector?

It is more a question of drivers. Connecting via wi-fi direct might be a slight challenge for me as I don't have wi-fi on my PC, but I am 90% sure they have said it connects via USB to the console for charging. What else could it connect to?

Let's not forget that you can't really use the PS3 controller with a PC despite its connections. I am not going to spend ~£50 to upgrade my current PC controller, which is a wired 360 controller I got for £15, if it doesn't work as seamlessly as it currently does

Wifi-Direct means especially you need 802.11ac on your pc if you want to connect wireless but I think MS will give you an adapter like they did with 360-controller.  MS always made good peripherals for PC and I don't think the controller is limited to Xbone.

The thing with the PS3-controller on PC, well... It is sad they don't offer an easy solution for PC. They could sell thousands of controllers on PC, just like MS does - they won't lose any gamers for PC if they would do so. But I read there are solutions to make it work with PC, although I can't imagine why someone would prefer it over the 360-controller :)

I have been playing PlayStation since an early age, so my hands are sculpted around a DualShock controller, they just fit perfectly. I understand the better analogue sticks, but I am so used to the imperfections of the DualShock that I don't notice them... Intrestingly, you can use a DualShock with Android devices (maybe just Sony ones) but they haven't bothered with PCs. I looked into getting it to work with my PC, but I decided it wasn't worth the effort

Thanks for approving my ever-told theory! I tell people since many years that they have changed their hand-physics fitting to the ps-controller when it should be otherwise! When PSX got released I was 15 so my hands didn't grow anymore (I didn't grow overall anymore...) and always thought "hell, what is this? An ergonomic catastrophe!" Well, it had no chance against the Saturn-controller for me. So as you say you got "used" to it when you were young means you don't know better and/or your hands grew the way they fit to the dual-shock. This is the first time someone confirms it! Yes! I will bookmark this post and send it to my friends! Thank you very much!

I wouldn't necessarily claim that this is scientific proof, but I guess I am glad to help!

Is it bigger or smaller than the usual 360 controller?

How big is the controller in size and weight when compared to Xbox 360's controllers?

Xbox One, PS4 and Switch (+ Many Retro Consoles)

Prediction: Switch will sell better than Wii U Lifetime Sales by Jan 1st 2018

Is there a mouse/keyboard option for all these FPS coming out? :). I'm teasing, sizing and weight i'd imagine are similar with a few design tweaks. Why change something that already works?

Good to see this site is still going

It felt a bit lighter than the current controller.

And I found out about the question I could not answer - it did have batteries in it.  While I know it was attached by a cable to a PC running a demo, Major Nelson made sure that it contained batteries.  So we would get a genuine idea of the weight.

But I was mostly going on feel for the triggers, but I would say it weighs between the current controller with both batteries, and a little bit heaver than if you take one battery out.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.
