For me personally it was the lack of Japanese RPGs. Hopefully Sony will have that part covered.

One feels like 360, but worse. A lot of new games were announced, but I thought the conference itself was poorly done. Killer Instinct was announced with a new controller breifly, and while the debuted it they were advertizing some really lame twitch recording, i dunno.

There was a lot of good stuff, mixed in with a lot of bad stuff.

Still, in spite of the poor reveal, I think MS did a better job then I expected. Now I want to know if they can keep it up. 360 started strong too, but after 4 years or so the exclusives stopped flowing, and One feels like a 360. In terms of gamestyle, target audience, and impact....

Dead Rising 3 = Dead Rising
Titanfall = Lost Planet
Ryse = Gears of War
Halo = Halo
Forza 5 = PGR3/Forza 2
Killer Instinct = Perfect Dark Zero
Quantum Break = Alan Wake (which came later for the 360)
Crimson Dragon = Lost Odyssey (which has more of an impact and came later for the 360)

So....I'm still skeptical. I'm really curious if Killer Instinct will be a flop like Perfect Dark Zero, or moderatly good like Conker: Live and Reloaded.

I expected a $449 price tag and now it is $499. Well... Not a big deal for me.

Pros, the things I liked the most:

Halo 5 (exclusive)
Dead Rising 3 looked awesome (exclusive)
The Witcher 3
Battlefield 4 (timed exclusive DLC)
Forza Motorsport 5 is just wow (exclusive)
Ryse looks really good (exclusive)
Quantum Break will be outstanding. (exclusive)
Titanfall will be a major game next gen. (exclusive)

And that was just what I liked.


The things others will like, but are not for me:

Minecraft on Xbox One (exclusive)
MGS V
Crimson Dragon (exclusive)
Sunset Overdrive (exclusive)
Killer Instinct (exclusive)

And we still have to hear more from:

Lionhead (Fable IV?)
Black Tusk (small teaser lookd nice, but is not telling much)
MS Victoria
MS Redmond
MS Osaka

Yeah, really good, gave it an 8. They did the bare minimum to get me thinking about buying at launch. I know that sounds pretty dismissive but I really wasn't planning on buying either new console anytime soon. Hefty european price though which might put me off. Best E3 conference in years, but then it'd want to have been

As a huge Dead Rising and Killer Instinct fan........ i have to give it a 9.

Nice supporting cast of games too with the likes of Crimson Dragon, Quantum Break, D4 & Titanfall.

The price was a drawback though...... not day 1 for me @ £429.

The minute i can get one for £349 though, i'm in.

I'd give it a 7/10, but E3 conferences usually totally suck, and in comparison to the majority of others this was a solid 9/10. It doesn't get much better than this, folks.

Not at E3, anyway.

PS: Titanfall looks sick!

Awful Halo presentation put me over the edge, how do you allow that woman to come out and suck the air out of the room? The biggest detail was that it's running at 60fps?

The price is outrageous.

Nothing blew us away. It was a pretty safe conference when what they needed was a grand slam.

It was a great conference but the lack of WOW factor and price put the show just good...

Expected: Halo, Forza, The Witcher 3, BattleField 4, Ryse, Minecraft. Dark Souls 2, Metal Gear Solid V.

Good: Killer Instinct, Titanfall, Project Spark, Sunset Overdrive

Neutral: Quantum Break, D4, Dead Rising 3, Crimson Dragon, Panzer Dragoon

Bad: Price.

A 7/10 much better than expected but nothing showed screamed day one or must buy

I like the games games games part, and the fact none of them were Kinect games. But many games were indi or low budget games which got me bored while watching the conference. Ryse, Dead Rising 3, and Spark were the only games that really made me feel sorry that im getting a PS4. but everything else wasnt that good. oh and that moment when the BF4 demo kept fucking up, only would have happened in a Microsoft press conference. i think i hate the new 360 Model, but love that they removed the Microsoft points and went to real currency.
im going to give it a 6 just cause they didnt show as much BS as the last Microsoft event, but most of the games sucked and the price is also BS $500.... $500 man i was expecting $400-$450 damn.
