Forums - Gaming Discussion - MS allegedly paying devs and publishers to NOT show PS4 games at E3 2013

While this is just a rumor it should come as no surprise as they paid spike to not air Sony's E3 last year. Actions like these pretty much confirm that Microsoft knows that Sony has the upper hand and they are scared.

I was walking down along the street and I heard this voice saying, "Good evening, Mr. Dowd." Well, I turned around and here was this big six-foot rabbit leaning up against a lamp-post. Well, I thought nothing of that because when you've lived in a town as long as I've lived in this one, you get used to the fact that everybody knows your name.

Yet another reason to hate MS.

Now everything is being thrown in the mix. Innocent until proven guilty.
But MS deserve to be put on the spotlight and be criticized. I'm very disappointed.

i wish they would just use that money for something else.... you know, make their own games?

i honestly dont understand this, instead of buying third party exclusivity (mostly timed) why just not throw your money at making new studios? making new FIRST party games? yes, they have a few more studios. but it will never hurt to have even more

I thought it was pretty obvious that MS focus aren't games.

Oh Microshaft, relying on dirty tricks to get one over Sony. The worst thing is that the general gamer won't know anything about this. Since they don't visit sites like this. Microsoft is afraid of Sony.

Well, they said they were going to kill Sony.

Still, I'm not going to assume this is true without confirmation, though it wouldn't surprise me, either. Microsoft has never been known for being passive.

Not a terrible idea, attempting to give the illusion that some 3rd party games are exclusive. Even just attempting to show consumers their favorite sports game or shooter and than the Xbox logo at the end of the trailer may work wonders,
Good sign for Sony if true shows that Microsoft is worried, right now they have a good amount of momentum all they need to do is play it safe and make MS pay for their mistakes come November.

More studios?? They have 23 gane development studios, and 6 more for other stuff. How many do tthey possiblly need? They HAVE thrown their money at opening studios. They also hace more than Sony and Nintendo. They are all developing for the Xbox One, so if you think there will be a lack of 1st party games, you have another thing coming.

ha!... this is war!.. how will sony respond?..
