Well I guess Sony still has faith in the franchise. Plus, it isn't like a franchise can take off and sell more than their previous entries. Look at GTA. I doubt Resistance would take off that dramatically, but you can't rule out that sales could improve for Resistance, just like it could for any other game.

The sales drop off game after game......its not encouraging to say the least.

Id rather they make syphon filter for ps4.

I don't get why people don't want it simply because it doesn't sell like Halo or Cod. I don't give a crap about sales, the game will be great and that's what matters to me. The more games PS4 will get the better. Resistance 3 is one the best FPS I played this gen and I hate FPS's . So another Resistance will make me put down my money on the PS4 at launch without any regret.

Resistance 1 was awesome.R2 sucked hard.R3 was awesome. So yea, I would like to see Resistance 4, but I don't know what would make it that interesting anymore.

hmm, it could still go up. Forza's latest games for example haven't been the best selling games from the franchise, do you think Micro should give up on those games as well?

Resistance 2, what an awesome game. But the other two are trite.

The universe is fantastic and I would definitely go for a reboot. Perhaps a cloverfield style game where you play as civi's  escaping the chimera invasion. 

Resistance 3 selling 1.3 million and Forza 4 almost hitting 4 million are two different things.

lol I completely looked at the charts wrong. It is indeed a different story. In fact it is on track to pass F3's sells. Still, sells could go up for the Resistance franchise if they get to attract the interest of people, that can't be rule out completely.

EDIT: There's the spinoff though, but that could be argued to be a spinoff and that it released relatively recently. Gotta wait and see.
