Forums - Sony - Sony Bend making Resistance 4?

I would bet on Uncharted Vita 2, but apparantly "Every Sony-Owned Studio is Working on PS4 Games", so unless Bend now has 2 teams or Yoshida is exaggerating (could of meant all the 'major' devs, or everyone is at least contributing to something on PS4 if not a whole game) it could be that their next game will be on PS4. 

And if that turns out to be true, I'll finally start believing Sony is abandoning the Vita.

lol I completely looked at the charts wrong. It is indeed a different story. In fact it is on track to pass F3's sells. Still, sells could go up for the Resistance franchise if they get to attract the interest of people, that can't be rule out completely.

As much as I like Resistance, I agree with sales. The franchise is way too niche now (for an AA/AAA), and Bend/Sony would have better luck with a new IP.

Possibly. But if they want to do it, give Resistance a chance I have nothing but the best wishes for them to succeed and get it to the next level.

Through technicality, this means they're also working on Vita games since the Vita can remote play all PS4 games supposedly. :D 

Lol oh yeah... or cross-buy, but that would kind of rule out an Uncharted sequel and rules in some small downloadable thing though, which I really don't want from them.

Agree, but unfortunately they don't want to make any more Resistance game.  But we can have faith like how 343 Industries did with Halo 4.  I just dislike the idea of rebooting a franchise without finishing the previous properly. (this goes to all game/movie franchises)

so i guess Killzone Shadow fall falls under that category! coz killzone 3 ending wasnt great either!

I don't remember KZ3's ending but the war wasn't over yet was it?  If it's not over then don't reboot til its over is what I say.
