Well I guess Sony still has faith in the franchise. Plus, it isn't like a franchise can take off and sell more than their previous entries. Look at GTA. I doubt Resistance would take off that dramatically, but you can't rule out that sales could improve for Resistance, just like it could for any other game.

The sales drop off game after game......its not encouraging to say the least.

hmm, it could still go up. Forza's latest games for example haven't been the best selling games from the franchise, do you think Micro should give up on those games as well?

Resistance 3 selling 1.3 million and Forza 4 almost hitting 4 million are two different things.

lol I completely looked at the charts wrong. It is indeed a different story. In fact it is on track to pass F3's sells. Still, sells could go up for the Resistance franchise if they get to attract the interest of people, that can't be rule out completely.

EDIT: There's the spinoff though, but that could be argued to be a spinoff and that it released relatively recently. Gotta wait and see.
