Haha i was going to say I looked it up once just to see and even though I am a diehard NASCAR fan I was suprised to see it was that popular. Also I think the reason it doesn't get al  lot of press on sports channels and websites is the fact most of them don't consider it a sport (which is %100 false but thats another argument). As a diehard fan I never go to ESPN for NASCAR updates I just watch SPEED channel or go to NASCAR.com.

That is true, never thought about the SPEED channel.  Well I guees I learned something today then haha  Definitely shocked it is the 2nd most viewed sport in America lol

but seriously, none of them in those options, id go for the most popular sport by far worldwide, football (soccer),
so id say Lionel Messi, or maybe due to his retirement David Beckham.

At least some people are accepting that the world is not just America and so I would say Messi in general, though maybe Beckham at the moment given he is retiring
