Wow I wasn't expecting this for another 5 years or so. Although it really sounds more like GT5.5. In any case, why in the hell wouldn't this be made for PS4?

Totally this. I'd rather keep playing GT5 which is such a big game anyway. And no Vita version is shocking (could it mean that the big Vita title that was hinted at is indeed MH4?) as well as the lack of PS4. I hope the leak was only part of the information.

You are setting yourself up for disappointment if you think they teased Monster Hunter, consodering that it was a european Sony guy, it is far more likely that they will reveal something made by a european publisher/studio: Rayman Legends, new Assassins Creed  (Rising Pheonix?) or if you are lucky GTA.

Dumb move by Sony to release this on PS3. Even worse if there's no PS4 version.

it will sell a lot and make a huge amount of money but a gt6 released holiday 2014 for ps4 would also sell a lot over the years. maybe few million less but would help the ps4 a lot. i really hope gt7 won't come later as holidays 2015 then. maybe with a much bigger team which we don't know about.

Meh if its for ps3 then I will skip it. I am one of those people that can't go back and play previous gen games due to the difference in graphics. Hopefully there is a vita version at least,
But I am moving on from the ps3 after 7 long years once I pick up ps4 this holiday.

If exclusive, somebody at Sony is fucking stupid.

*nods heads in agreement*

Why? PS3 already has a userbase on which the game will sell. With PS4, they'll be lucky if the sell 2million in first year. PS3 version would do that much on launch week alone

I just don't really understand this, releasing a hardcore game know for its legs and longevity about 1 month before a new console launch? Doesn't make much sense to me

10-year-plan for PS3.

They released GoW II for PS2 after PS4 launch, but that was fine because of BC. This just means that all their hardcore racing fans sit around with PS3s. I would be shocked if they don't release a PS4 version within a year or two

I get the 10 year plan, but this isn't how you keep it going. You keep it going for another 3 years by making it cheaper, not puting your best selling franchise on it months before the PS4 launches

It will all be good if PS3 eventually surpasses the Wii in sales ;)

This year? And on PS3 (only)? oO

Playstation = The Beast from the East

Sony + Nintendo = WIN! PS3 + PSV + PS4 + Wii U + 3DS

Are they really that worried about hurting Drive Club's sales? Who gives a shit.

Guess this is the Forza 4 of GT then :P. That is to say same game engine, cars and tracks carried over with additional content all around. Not bad at all and a great way to end the current gen exclusives wise.

But down side is that the competitions next entry will be undoubtedly on the next generation console and thus will make any comparison unfair as there will be a obvious generational gap.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.
