I know the USA is a big place but these shootings are a bit common now aren't they. I can't wait for the NRA to say something stupid again

You don't need a police state, just some basic gun control. Although, congress seem quite keen in creating a police state anyway

...no they arent. Shootings that are common are in chicago in the ghetto with illegal guns.

Well i hear about them nearly every week now despite not living in America, but it's like the media seems to pick and choose what they report, rather than report everything

I guess so, what we see is normally bad news anyway. But i remember hearing there were at least 500 shootings in Chicago last year. I hope Watch Dogs emphasises that riduclous crime rate

There were 500 murders from guns last year in chicago... Shootings? a whole helluva lot higher. A lot go unreported

Everyone pro with banning guns should look at Chicago and realize just how stupid and irrelevant it is

If civilians would carry guns, you bet your ass robberies and shooting would go down
It sucks that I can't walk down in my hometown without worrying about getting shot

I think most people here will agree that gun control laws are rather pointless when every region or even city has differently strict  gun control laws, they have to be applied on a national level. If you can just drive to a neighbor state, a gun show etc. where other rules apply, the whole system is stupid. When it comes to things like gun control, it's the weakest link that counts.
