I believe for example if does as good as P4 that's a solid result.  If it beats it that's an improvement and if it beats it by a sizable margin it's a great result.  

I think he thinks im trying to downplay it. If it does do 400k lifetime its not a bad thing at all. Its not a bomb/etc. But what i seen from all of us and gaf we all (most of us) expect persona as a brand will expand going by everything in general. 

P5 doing the same as p4 b4 it would be disappointing as we all want it to be bigger than it already is/was.

Right now, any ps4 game that sells more than 400k looks like a huge achievement tbh.

P5 is a multiplat game for ps4 and ps3. Also p4g is a remake and it sold on a much lower userbase at the time.

I dont think itll do under 400k. I put money on it that fw will be over 300k. Itll be much bigger than Tales of B for sure (and that will do around 300k lifetime)

I think the truthful reason why individuals like myself wouldn't be impressed and people like Kresnick would be disappointed, (I am fine with 400k) is because Persona 4 and Persona 4: Golden together has built a larger audience and that we hope for the growth of this franchise. Remember Persona 4 and Persona 4 Golden build the audience up, and now we hope it continues, namely when PS4 is supposed to be the new market leader. 

To add, it is good if the franchises grow, and that is the hope of us fans or enthusiasts. Also if something enters some what stagnation or decline, it could be troublesome sign as well for a franchise that is as healthy Persona. 

I'd be disappointed with anything below 500k lifetime for Persona 5.


Also Square Enix is very much aware of the Persona 5 threat.

Not really worry about persona 5 will fall behind persona 4 on comg,if it do more than 200k first week it is decent, if it do 250k+ it will be great. and there are still a month to go then I hold a firm belief that persona 5 will be great.

Ya I am bit disappointed, namely since it seems to be continue the decline post Xillia, I honestly feel it should have been on Vita as well or they went all in on the ps4 (which is a risk).
