By today's standards for a fighter in the japanese market 150k wouldn't be terrible.  It's to be expected. 

He isn't talking about fighters but SF franchise. Racing games tend to sell 1mil-3mil WW nowadays, but if gran turismo sells 3mil-4mil it's look at as a huge disappointment despite it being higher than the norm but because it's Gran turismo. 

Same could be said for ssb. If ssb sold a total of 300k in Japan next installment is that OK? It's better than all the other fighters (in sales) but it's a huge decline and step down from previous installments. 

If it's as good as it can do in the current market and they make a profit you're damn right it's OK.  

So I predict SFV will do absolutely fine WW and in Asia it will be the same. Expected Japanese decline and expected Asian growth.  It's what the markets indicate and I won't be surprised or shocked.

Finally Street Fighter V, first week might not be good, but I am pretty sure it will have big legs!
Still no Project Setsuna.. And Attack on Titan doing bad on COMG...  There is also no pre-launch hype for KanColle Kai. 
At least all the March PS Vita games are doing nice (aka Digimon or Summon Night)!
