I think 100k including digital sales is the absolute best case scenario for Hyrule Warriors and I'd say that would be pretty darn great...worse case is significantly lower and significantly less great .-.

HW will pass Smash U, what a beast

Shining Resonance (LE) charting at 125 days out?  Wow.

I wonder why?

Don't forget that the Scarf bundle should also be accounted for, so it could reach a 100k opening week, and maybe have some 10k-20k digital sales, since that version is 1,000 yen cheaper.

The treasure box edition... I don't think they created too many of those, maybe 7k-10k tops, Digital is usually around 5-10% of the disc based rate, even if we are optimistic because this version is cheaper, I would not go beyond 20% and that is way higher than usual, so lets calculate using the average...

58.5k for regular and limited edition available in COMG

8.5k for treasure box edition not in COMG

10k for digital distribution

TOTAL for 1st week: 77k

Optimistic total: 104k

Pessimistic total: 52k

All based on a constant rate of 2 points for the remaining 6 days, if the game starts to get big numbers calculations will improve, if it does not move at all, they will go down.

Now I am more interested on the Hardware boost, will long time Musou fans buy the console for this game? or it will only be purchased by people who already own the console? Will this game be the tipping point for some that are still on the line?

I think it will sell for who already have the console. I don't think we'll see some significant boost. Maybe 1k

It'll easily double that, actually triple.... scratch that quadruple your maybe prediction!!!!!!!!!

All jokes aside, it can either do nothing at all (1k boost like you suggested) or maybe give it a note worthy one (push sales past 15k, maybe 20k)

My prediction for next week with HW, WiiU will be about 14-16k! :0

We will have 25k ........ Its Hyrule! :P

My hw prediction is 14K. Game will likely debut between 40-60K and will pass 100K by the end of the year in Japan.

I'm guessing 700-800K WW by the end of the year. (400K + USA, 200K+ Europe.)

Hopefully Temco will see this as enough to bring a couple of DW games to Wii U and maybe an iteration of DOA.
