Anyways, I don't think 13 year olds should be playing COD when it clearly says "M for Mature" (or whatever equivalent in your country) on the cover. Kids just aren't ready mentally to deal with those kinds of topics/themes, and this shows why. Now with the access to a gun, the kid becomes a ticking time bomb and the mother happened to get the worst of the explosion.

What is wrong with some of these lunatic kids - what with this guy and the other kid who slit someones throat? It really comes down to enforcing the ratings to ensure kids dont play mature games - something that people are very very slack about especially when you consider how strict parents are about kids watching adult movies.

I'd still have to say that games are kinda part of the issue.

They bring out some mean stuff. I played COD at a friends' house once and that seeping anger just got to a point where I needed to quit before I smashed something.

Those things aggravate people. People in aggressive states can do stupid things. Particularly kids.

Even recently, i subscribed to the idea that you had to express your anger somewhere (and for a time, that somewhere was here), lest it build up and come out in nastier ways, although i've been trying to adjust that.

They totally overpowered mages and dracoknights though. We all know this!
