I know Nintendo product do better in the holidays but even so, it will be a pathetic victory.

The problem is that people try to make them seem equal when they obviously aren't.

Why does that offend you personally?

Even if WiiU were not as pathetic as Vita, the fact that you need to defend a smelly turd against a slightly smellier turd is still laughable.

So far it is pretty much "3DS and the rest", I agree.

What has the WiiU to look forward to over Vita? Are you talking about games or sales?

WiiU gets Nintendo games, ok. Vita gets more 3rd party support, Japanese and Western. Sales for both are very similar.

 

I honestly don't know why some people get so offended by this when it's a very valid comparison of two disasters.

Its sad to see Vita selling so poorly when its a system I'm enjoying so much. I'm glad though that its getting software support and some developers seem very pleased with game sales and plan on keeping to support it.
I don't expect it to become a sales juggernaut but I'm sure the scenery will improve to more decent sales.

In the meanwhile I'll just enjoy some decent support and try to buy all the games I want coming my way.

It's just silly to call the Wii U doomed at this point, with games like Smash Bros, Mario Kart, and HD Zelda still to come.

Even the Vita isn't doomed, it still has a chance to rebound and do well with the right games.

No Wii Sports, no Wii Play, no Wii Fit, no 3D Mario, no Zelda, no Metroid, no Super Smash Bros., no Mario Party, no Animal Crossing and not even a Mario Kart title has arrived yet. And you are already certain that the Wii U has low chances of selling well?
