Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Call of Duty: Ghosts revealing at Microsoft's May 21st event

As someone who has little to no interest in Call of Duty, I am nonetheless quite interested to see the first bits of it at the Xbox event.

I'm confused by this teaser.

Guess I'll wait 20 days to see what this is all about.

So, MS is once again setting another console up as the shooter box?
Exclusive shooter from ex-infinity ward devs, a multiplatform reveal at their own console announcement, likely another halo being announced at the same time.

Sony needs to get their act together and fight for the fps games. To think, you can win a market with just a single genre.

ow.. now I'm even more hyped for the xbox reveal.. billions of casual players with me.. yes billions.. nice on MS

Most will be in school during the MSFT event. Looks likes they're sticking to the timed-DLC deal though. Hopefully this isn't their big showcase. Here's hoping for some new AAA IP.

kinda interested to see what the changes will be

Cool. This + Respawn's game is going to be attracting... a certain crowd... to the Xbox early. Which is probably a very smart move on Microsoft's part.

I'm more interested in the "next generation platforms" part. PS4? Wii-U? PS4 and Wii-U?

If it gets announced for PS3/4 and Xbox2/3 then it's going to be interesting to follow the sales breakdown on each console. I suppose the point of revealing at MS' event is to build up the association with the new console. It should be pretty strong already, but this will cement it.

Well Sony will have those games on the PS4 too. Although timed-exclusive DLC for the biggest franchise out there is a big win for Microsoft, it will not win them the generation.

It will likely be on the WiiU as well. Activision supports Nintendo pretty well and has put past Call of Duty games on the Wii.

FPS is also Sony's biggest market by a significant margin.

There seems to be a huge focus on masks. Who knows how this will factor into gameplay. My body is ready!
