Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Modern Warfare 3 Kicks Halo 4 out of 4th Spot on Xbox Live Activity

Hopefully this makes it clear to microsoft that it should have playlists that exclude some of the new multiplayer "innovations". They tried to cator to a new audience and ended up making a medicore experience for many longtime fans of the game. Halo: Reach was behind two Call of Dutys as well. But Call of Duty is declining in popularity. And to have fifa ahead of it should be outright embarrassing for 343 industries.

Halo 3 for comparision.

Halo 3 didn't drop out of the top 2 for more than the occasional week until Halo: Reach came out 3 years later. Halo 4 has dropped out of the top 4 only a few months after launch.

Halo 3 was the most played game on xbox live, 2007, 2008, and 2009.

Around the Network

Like I said in the other post like this. COD and Minecraft are phenomenons and soccer is the most popular sport int he world. Being number five on list of most played online games without being COD, Minecraft, or Soccer is impressive all by itself.

Halo 4 isn't even competing with Minecraft or FIFA so it's the 3rd most played FPS game. That's not a fail.

This game needs a proper ranking system and smaller maps.

The issue lies here...

Where did you find this graph? When I open it in a new tab, it doesn't give me a link. it just says "data:" in the bar.

The source printed on the bottom right says hardcharts.com, but that domain is currently under construction. Where did you grab this? I'm curious if there are other similar graphs available for games...

EDIT: HaloCharts.. derp.. -.-
