Just going by Gamecube and WiiU numbers as of now, both core-first consoles and each doing not so hot right now.



Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

i wonder if wiiu would really fly from the walmart shelves...

if i dont see enough game i might go back to the play station side, except for my handheld... 3ds keep surprising me... no reason to buy wiiu maybe until christmas, if the games actually come

I love Nintendo to death, but their utter stupidity over the last two years on the home console front is mind blowing. Everything they could have gotten wrong, they did, and instead of changing, they're ignoring the obvious solutions and sticking to their ineffective methods. A tribe of chimpanzees could run the company better than its current leaders are. 

Gamers  want games. It's not that hard to understand.

So WiiU's biggest strengh is letting someone else watching the TV? I don't know how it is at Mr. Miyamoto's but in the  real world even kids have been having their own TV for a while now.

He should really name some games, or at least dates for existing ones. PS4 and Nextbox are getting something like 1 new game a week and they haven't been even shown.

Well with gamecube Nintendo showed they can't stand toe to toe with the other guys. WiiU is repeating the same pattern (so  far). Lets see if they can pull a "3DS" again with WiiU

Gamecube showed no such thing. It showed they can't when they make stupid decisions regardng their core franchises, a mistake they may not repeat with Wii U.

The true potential for Wii U is SOFTWARE that can show the features of the Wii U.
Nintendo Land did, and... well... Pikmin 3 looks cool in HD, right?

It needs Wii Sports U, real new features for Wii Fit U, Wii Party U doing something that Wii cannot.
