Malcom did try to explain that with something like he has the belief/conviction to do what is necessary no matter what for his belief. He said oliver wasn't willing to sacrifice everything. Though I see it as much more simple since malcom would have more experiance in fighting then oliver at the time they fought, oliver maybe slightly faster and stronger, but Malcolm has experience.

I saw it last night, great finale. Maybe better than the whole rest of the season put together.

To me, this first season has often been more cheesy than epic, but this last episode was everything the show should be. I'm really looking forward to seeing what they can do in season 2, they've got a good set up now.

to me the show started of as ok~good then it got slowly better. the last 5 or 6 episodes though were great. the finale was amazing, but still i would say in comparasion the season finale of any spartacus season would be better. i cant wait for season 2 though

Bloody hell. Just watched the finale and had a hard time picking my jaw from the floor. Such an awesome episode. So much progress; I can't remember the last finale which was this much action packed. While Arrow is a good show overall, the quality of the finale was unexpected (imho).

Definitely a 10/10 for me (just as good, if not better than the finale of Revenge and close to the awesomeness of the series finale of V).

Edit: forgot about Spartacus. The final (?) scene from Spartacus Season 1 (slow motion Romans running for their lives) is the most epic moment of tv history as far as I'm concerned. 

That final scene with Tommy and Oliver was one of the better scenes I've seen, and really displayed their acting abilities.

I'm so glad they didn't have him stop it bacause it always seems like the evil plan is always stopped. So it was nice to have "evil" win this time.

it also set up a great start for season 2. i cant imagine what is going to happen. lance knows flicity works with arrow, but he got suspended. ollie's mom might go to prison, laural might have issue's with ollie because of what happened with tomy (when he came back for her) and there is so much more to consider. i just cant wait. im loving this show

The season premier should be pretty awesome.  I don't think Lance will be trying to catch Ollie anymore and will help him by giving him some police info when he needs it.

maybe he could join him? but if he doesnt i think he needs to die, yeah i know a bit drastic, but it would be the only way it would make sense that lance wouldnt bust filicity
