It seems the Wii U is actually selling more healthy in NA at the moment, undoubtedly because of the release of the Lego City game.

I maintain that if there is nothing about a system that prevents you from playing, developing, or enjoying games, new game releases DOES make a difference.It should be common knowledge, but there seems like some people are denying that fact.

This shows that even though the Wii U carried the Wii momentum into a ditch, it can be regained with the correct software.

Id say yes, If a console has good games that's most of the reason you will buy it.

Good software will always drive hardware. No one wants a piece of plastic just for bragging rights. Who denied that games would push hardware?

Yeah anyone who suggests games won't have an effect on sales is crazy. It's a matter of how much that effect will be and that really depends on the game. They are two games with moderate appeal compared to how appealing future Zelda, Metroid, Mario 3d, Mario Kart type of games in the future. Once Christmas buying season rolls around and Nintendo can do some nice bundles with the white Wiiu perhaps with New Super Mario Bros plus have several key titles on the market things will pick up a lot for the system. The launch of system from Sony and Microsoft will have zero impact. Last gen system from those two will have more of an effect than the new systems will have for some time.

Yeah the same thing can be said for PSVita so similar comments and expectations ought to spawn from supporters of this notion when referring to both platforms.

anyways both Lego and monster hunter released. i wouldnt say this is attributed to only lego. lego does have its fan base and it is different to the fan base that likes japanese hunter games like monster hunter. this two games sold to two niches which drove up hardware a bit. one week doesnt really do much for the WiiU, it needs to be able to have healthy sales even without software releasing
