Hmm those huge discounts plus new games actually helped the Wii U, but on the other hand Xbox lower a few k than last week on new Gears launch week? This seems wrong? Were there any limited edition bundles?

So about Monster Hunter....

Legs or no? Seems pretty niche in the West.

Hopefully it can reach some decent numbers. At least enough to localize MH4.

Nah I think they are pretty spot on(Wii U numbers) as even thought it got a ~200% boost in US it's not that much as the numbers were pretty low last week. But a boost is always a boost and hopefully the Wii U can maintain the WW sales next week as it should get a further boost in Europe thanks to Lego City.

well hopefully it is true, guess we will have to wait until NPD. im willing to bet those gears numbers are undertracked though

Out of interest, have there been any sales on Persona 4 in the USA? Just wondering why it re-entered the charts at #40.

In the UK charts Fifa 13 Vita re-entered and it has actually been discounted to £16 in GAME and on amazon I noticed today, although I don't know how long for.

The 3DS numbers in NA are actually LOWER than the WiiU numbers.

Pretty meh opening for MH 3 Ultimate on either platform but I guess when you combine both versions it's decent.

Side note, why is VGChartz calling it Monster Hunter Tri...

Who was it that was saying that software wont help the Wii U sales? lol

Unfortunely Monster hunter 3G sales seem weak. That is a worry towards monster hunter 4 and the future of the series in the west. Hopefully it shows good legs. I plan to get it, just too swamped in my backcatalog. Hopefully EU's numbers are decent.

Did we REALLY expect it to outsell Tri on a much MUCH smaller launch base?

It could hit 500k on both versions if it has decent legs.
